Came in here for breakfast a few days ago and it was pretty good!
I had a chicken fried steak and my friend had an omelet & pancake. Everything we had tasted really good and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is a little funky and has a weird set up but the food makes up for it.
From the outside it looks closed 24/7 but it is actually open. Would recommend lighter windows. -

I completely underestimated this place. From the photos online, the lack of atmosphere and limited menu made me question whether they were established enough or cared enough to have decent food. I only stopped because it was one of the better rated restaurants in Forks.
After warming up to the waitress, who seemed a little hassled at first, things improved considerably. They made fried mushrooms (fresh, local chanterelles) by request. In case you're wondering, one order easily serves two.
All the food, from the ranch dressing to the blackberry pie, is freshly homemade. I got the fish and chips. Four pieces with fries would've also easily served two. The 1/4-lb burgers, after cooking, were a little sad and thin, shoved between a big sesame seed bun and toppings. They'd be better off with a 1/3-lb patty.
The ice cream selection is a little limited, but the flavors are great. I wasn't brave enough to try Black Licorice, but it's apparently a local favorite judging by the amount missing from the case and the people walking out with cones piled high.
Prices are a little high for a burger joint in a town with a population of 3500, but it's definitely worth a stop. You won't be disappointed! It just needs a little more thought in the seating layout and decor to truly be a local treasure. -

We came in on a day where they were short staffed (or at least that was the excuse). The waitress was frazzled and not super helpful, but she kept the coffee coming during our long wait for breakfast.
Three of us ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. Really, really good. The hash browns didn't get crispy enough for my liking but everything was well seasoned. Ask for the gravy on the side unless you like a ton of gravy. The chicken was very crunchy and came out hot and fresh. My daughter had the strawberry waffle. It was alright. I wish it had come with a side of anything but we ordered ala cart. Probably wouldn't order it again, but she loved the whipped cream on top. I wish we had ordered ice cream but we were too stuffed. They had some unique flavors.
The place was clean and had some interesting things to purchase or look at while you wait. (Snail slime facial products?!) The bathroom was funky. Just hold it, if you can.
We will likely be back if we stop in Forks again. -

The hunt for a good breakfast spot got us to The Parlor. The place can be described as minimalist with the focus being the food. The arrangement of tables is spacious. There's also some unique items on display. The menu items are limited but enough. Ordered the eggs omelette with hash browns and English Muffin. Nothing much to say about the dish except the hash browns were very crispy. Decent place for reh price

The day we were in, they had Chantrell mushrooms on special!!! I was SO excited to get to eat some local mushrooms. The specials were a mushroom burger, or an omelette and I didn't want those, so I asked for a side of fried mushrooms and boy, did they deliver. They deep fried them in they Alaskan beer batter that they use for their fish and chips. I was in heaven. My bacon waffle was okay, husband's chicken fried steak was great, excellent job on the gravy and my daughter loved her 'Bella's pancake' which was a cinnamon roll pancake with icing, whipped cream and cinnamon. There was a rush when we got there and the wait wasn't too long, so they're working on it. Good coffee!
